1. Contest Overview

The KimoKawaii Logo Re-creation Contest (hereinafter referred to as "Contest") is organized by Silverback Events (hereinafter referred to as "Organizer"). The Contest invites talented artists to submit their unique designs for the KimoKawaii 4 logo, which will be featured in all promotional materials for the convention.

2. Eligibility

Participation in the Contest is open to individuals aged 18 years and older and residing in the

United States.

 

 

3. Submission Guidelines

Participants must adhere to the following design guidelines:

- The colors must match the current KimoKawaii logo: "Kimo" should be green (representing weird or gross) and "Kawaii" should be pink (representing adorable and cute).

- The design must align with the existing color palette while allowing for creative expression that channels the KimoKawaii vibe.

- Participants may submit the tag "Anime Experience & Convention" as a separate file if desired.

- Submission Requirements: All entries must be submitted as a PNG file with a transparent background, sized at 2400x2400 pixels.

 

4. How to Submit

- Deadline for Submission: October 1st, 2024.

- Participants must submit their artwork through the 2025 Logo Contest Form on the www.kimokawaii.net website.

 

5. Ownership and Rights

By submitting an entry to the Contest, participants acknowledge and agree to the following:

- All entries submitted for this Contest remain the exclusive property of KimoKawaii.

- Submission does not grant participants any rights to the KimoKawaii logo or any related trademarks.

- Silverback Events retains all rights to the KimoKawaii logo, and participants agree that their submitted artwork will not be used to claim any ownership or rights to the logo.

- By submitting to this Contest, whether you win or not, your artwork may be used by the

Organizer for promotional purposes or for monetized branding at their discretion.

 

 

6. Judging and Winner Selection

Entries will be judged based on creativity, originality, and adherence to the design guidelines. The winner will be determined by audience vote and announced on November 1st, 2024, on www.kimokawaii.net and across all social networks and the email newsletter. The Organizer’s decision is final.

 

7. Prizes

 

The winner will receive the following:

- A free Artist Alley table at KimoKawaii 4.

- A cash prize of $100.

- Promotion as a featured guest artist on the www.kimokawaii.net website and across social media.

- The winning logo will be featured in all KimoKawaii 4 promotions and branding.

 

 

8. Event Details

KimoKawaii 4 will take place on June 7 and 8, 2025, at the Lone Star Convention Center in

Conroe, Texas.

 

 

9. Publicity Release

By participating in the Contest, participants grant Silverback Events the right to use their name, likeness, and submitted artwork for promotional purposes without additional compensation.

 

10. Limitation of Liability

By entering the Contest, participants agree to release and hold harmless Silverback Events, its affiliates, and their respective employees, agents, and representatives from any liability arising from participation in the Contest or the acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize.

 

11. Governing Law

This Contest and its Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas.

 

12. Acceptance of Terms

By submitting an entry to the Contest, participants confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
