Kushi & the Annunaki is a unique anime series created with fans at KimoKawaii, where attendees get to voice characters alongside professional voice actors from hits like Dragon Ball Z, One Piece, and Spirited Away. This year, we’re premiering all three episodes, featuring both fan and pro performances in a one-of-a-kind collaborative anime experience!

In the past, our voice acting sessions have been exclusive, ticketed experiences—but this time, we’re opening the door to everyone! Whether you’re curious about voice acting or just want to see what it’s all about, join us for a free table read. A script will be provided, but no professional recording will take place. Come sit in, listen, learn, and even jump in if you’d like. It’s a great chance to explore voice acting and meet fellow fans!

Discover the elegance and artistry of traditional Japanese attire in this introductory panel on kimono and kitsuke (the art of wearing a kimono). Learn about the history, styles, and cultural significance of kimono, as well as the techniques used to properly wear and accessorize them. Whether you're a beginner or simply curious, this session will provide insights into the beauty and tradition of Japan’s iconic garment.

Come meet professional cosplayers Cosplay Meg, Rumplestilt_seam, and Cosplay Till Midnight as they talk about their experiences in cosplay and judging competitions. From vocal warm-ups and character practice to script reading and finding work in the field, this panel gives you a behind-the-scenes look at the craft of voice acting. Whether you're an aspiring voice actor or just curious about how it's all done, come learn, laugh, and listen to the voices behind the magic!

Rinth Radio Hour (RRH) is a unique storytime podcast created and hosted by writer and podcaster John Simons. Each episode is performed live in front of an audience, featuring guest voice actors who bring the stories to life. The third episode, titled “Yokai Hotel,” is a comedic and inventive tale inspired by Japanese paranormal lore, blending surrealism with traditional yokai myths for a fresh, entertaining experience. Join the live reading at the Kimokawaii Anime Experience and Convention to enjoy this imaginative fusion of Japanese folklore and comedy in a vibrant, interactive setting.

All signups will end at 1:00pm on Sunday, June 8, 2025.
Prejudging is a quick chance to show your cosplay up close and explain the work you put into it. Use this time to help the judges see the effort and creativity behind your costume!
For those who have signed up, head to the Main Events room and line up at 2:00 PM.
Prejudging for teens and adults will take place from 2:30 to 3:30 PM.
Kids should arrive no later than 3:15 PM to be ready to start the show at 3:30 PM. Kids will not be prejudged.
